Announcement of the King's Birthday Honours 2026

The King's Birthday Honours are awarded each year to recipients who have made outstanding contributions to society, community, or their area of work, and this year 14 people either living in or working in Warwickshire have been recognised.

Individual honours are usually announced twice a year to mark The King’s official birthday, and the New Year’s Honours at the end of December. The King's Birthday Honours recipients for 2026 with links to Warwickshire are:

Knighthoods (KBE)

• Professor Glen Warren Burley (Chief Executive of The Foundation Group and Deputy Chief Executive of NHS England) for services to the NHS.

Officers of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)

• Sarah Jane Castle (Official Solicitor and Public Trustee) for services to the Court of Protection, to the Chequers Trust and to the Public
• Dr Martin Robert Reeves (Chief Executive of Oxfordshire County Council) for services to Local Government.
• Dr Marcus Rink (Chief Inspector of Drinking Water, Drinking Water Inspectorate) for services to Water Quality.

Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)

• Andreas Antona (Founder of Bocuse d'Or UK Academy) for services to the Hospitality Sector and to Charity.
• Stuart James Balnaves (Deputy Director, Customer Service Enterprise Operations, Department for Education) for Public Service.
• Jessica Leigh Carter for services to Association Football.
• Patricia Ann Drake for services to the community in East Sussex.
• Dr Heidi Louise Meyer (Master at Lord Leycester Hospital) for services to Heritage.
• Richard William Sloan (Education Advisor, Confederation of School Trusts) for services to Education.

Medallists of the Order of the British Empire (BEM)

• Scott Caswell (Police Constable at Warwickshire Police) for services to Policing and to Veterans.
• Irene Mary Clarke for services to Charitable Fundraising and to the community in Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire.
• Becki Coombe for services to the community in Coventry and Warwick.
• Leanne Johanna Howlett (Expert by Experience and Specialist Perinatal Psychiatric Nurse at the Institute of Health Visiting) for services to Health Visiting.
