Warwickshire Vision's Volunteer Excellence Awards 2026

The Lord-Lieutenant, alongside Simon Pargeter, Mayor of Warwick, was delighted to attend Warwickshire Vision's office in Warwick for the charity's annual Volunteer Excellence Awards. These awards celebrate the incredible contributions of all the volunteers of the charity, as over 150 individuals regularly donate their time and skills to support the ongoing work of Warwickshire Vision.

Keith Eales, CEO of Warwickshire Vision, shared heartfelt stories as part of the event about the volunteers, emphasising the kindness, commitment and generosity shown through their actions every day.

Volunteers are important because their support helps Warwickshire Vision to reach out to visually impaired people across the county, showing care whilst building relationships that make a positive difference to people's lives. The Lord-Lieutenant was able to thank the amazing volunteers in person at the event - some of whom had worked for the charity for over twenty years.
